Loreto...u always make me SO proud

i came to Calcutta and joind Loreto as a 5yr old in class 1...
i still remember asking dad on d day of admisn" dad is this a skul...?its soooooooooo big..."haha
really even 3yrs now dat i have left loreto i still pity that i cudnt inspect the entire campus in my 10yrs of stay!sigh!
our vice princi Mrs.Gasper used to alws say that we wud miss skul once we leave..didnt realize her words until i really left!how i miss those days!

i still remember how cricket used to b a favourite of ours...given that it was girls' skul...we girls were the queens alws...no1 else to dominate(i meant d male species :P)...even on the grounds

and goodness sake!!those hi-tensed days of inter house competitions..very similar to "Hogwarts house rivalry"...it turnd best frnds foes!!i still laugh at them now!how stupid were we to fight wid frnds wen her House lost to mine or vice versa.


And then...the teachers...Ms Pillai who was my class teachr in 9/10 told me on farewell day.."wenevr i came to take d attendance in d mornin i nevr found roll nos. 19/20 in class...coz they were busy serving the skul"..haha(roll-19 was me & 20 was Nabanita-my most dearest frnd/competitor/and my rival house captain at Loreto ) :)

...and those rainy days...even if we had umbrellas we nevr used them.the walk frm our skul buildin to main gate was a long long one[:O]..!!!
on way back home...we kept the windows f the skul bus open..so dat our faces could b sprinkld wid the raindrops...we fought 4window seats on rainy days...the seniors and teachers in d bus scolded us for gettin wet...and how meanly we wishd they cud get off the bus soon!haha!!...those were d days :)

....and finally 1 of my most favorite places at skul...the church!i used to love bein thr early in d morning...sit at d alter and think!then Mother would come out and bless me!i loved all of it...dunno y!tho m nt a b'lver of any religion...10yrs of strict Roman Catholic schooling did instill in me a love for churches..and devlpd a somber affection towards the statues of Mary n Jesus!!
